Mr Qureshi was appointed as an NHS Consultant at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Bassetlaw Hospitals in June 2006. He also works at the Montagu NHS Hospital in Mexborough, Rotherham and runs weekly trauma, shoulder and elbow clinics across these hospitals. . My areas of expertise are arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. Upper and lower limb joint replacement surgery, sports injuries, whiplash and lower back pain. He is also a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) and the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA).

Medico-legal experience
Mr Qureshi has prepared a number of reports for solicitor firms, insurance companies and medico-legal agencies particularly providing a speedy turnover for personal injury and worker compensation cases. Has also seen many claimants involved in road traffic accidents related injuries. He has experience with general orthopaedic/fracture injuries and his main expertise is with upper limb related injuries and whiplash syndrome. He provides good quality, objective medical advice and evidence. The reports include a clear prognosis with a range of expert opinion and references. They are generally available within one to two weeks of an interview and he can see cases within a fortnight of an instruction. The reports are clear and accurate with any necessary technical medical terms explained. Key publications
Mr Qureshi has published a number of articles in both peer and non-peer review journals on traumatic injuries and fractures of the upper limb, shoulder and elbow matters and sports injuries. He has been involved in clinical research and academic development and have presented his research at orthopaedic conferences held both nationally and internationally. He is also a Consultant Editor for the European Journal of Orthopaedic Product News for which he regularly writes articles and journal reviews for publication.
